JUNIORS PROGRAM

The age where technique starts to stick.

Our philosophy

Ages 8 to 11, old enough for the real thing.

Juniors are old enough for real Jiu-Jitsu technique and young enough to learn it without picking up bad habits along the way. Our Juniors Program is built around that window.

Every class follows the same rhythm, so children always know what is expected of them: warm-up, technique of the day, drilling in pairs of similar size, then a rule-bound game to apply it.

Structure that sticks.

Every class works through positional control — guard, side control, mount and back — how to reach a position and how to keep it.

Escapes come first, because getting out of a bad position calmly is the skill that makes everything else safe.

From there, light situational training and a belt-and-stripe path that recognizes technique, behavior and consistency.

How the class runs

Warm-upTechniqueDrillingGame

Children warm up, learn the technique of the day, drill it in pairs matched by size, then apply it through a rule-bound game — the same rhythm every class, so they always know what comes next.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe at this age?+

Yes. There is no striking, children are paired by size, and intensity is controlled by the professor.

My child has never done a sport. Will they keep up?+

Most start exactly there. The first weeks assume no experience at all.

How many classes per week?+

Two is the recommended rhythm; three for children who want to progress faster.

Do they need a gi?+

Only after the trial. A t-shirt and shorts without zippers is fine for the first visit.

Will my child have to compete?+

Never required. Competition is offered to those who want it.
